Consisting of five glass straws, each engraved gracefully and individually, this set transforms a seemingly mundane object into a work of art. Made of high-quality Schott glass, these straws are not only visually appealing but also eco-friendly. Handmade and packaged in a traditional glassworks in Munich, the Design Drinking Set embodies the principles of craftsmanship and environmental consciousness. The packaging itself is made of innovative ecological grass cardboard, further emphasizing the commitment to sustainability.

Measuring 200 x 7 mm, these glass straws are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical. They can be cleaned and reused up to 1042 times in the dishwasher, making them a durable and long-lasting alternative to single-use plastic straws. From October 2020 to December 2020, the chilli mind design team overcame various creative and technical challenges to bring the Design Drinking Set to life. The set pays homage to the ornamentation of the early 19th century while embodying the sustainability mindset of today. The locally produced glass straws sit securely in an individually manufactured inlay, accompanied by a cleaning brush made of cotton fibers.

The Design Drinking Set has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects, and Green Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics.
